Best All Terrain Stroller

The Thule Shine is an excellent choice, and we've called it the previous winner in this category. It's more expensive than some of our other choices but it's solid and comes with plenty of features (car seat compatibility! dual cup holders!) which makes it a worthwhile investment. It folds down small enough to fit in the overhead bins of airplanes making it an ideal option for families that do lots of traveling.

She along with our product testing team evaluate each stroller by pushing, running, folding and lifting them to evaluate their performance, comfort and usability. The BOB Sport Utility

The BOB Sport utility is the ideal stroller to choose if you want to leave the track and work out. The jogging stroller has pneumatic knobby tires that are great for trail runs and hand brakes that let you control the downhills. It also boasts a state-of-the-art suspension system and a two-step folding design, and an enormous cargo basket. You can even use it with an infant car seat if you buy the appropriate adapters.

The biggest drawback of this jogging stroller all terrain is its weight and folded size. It weighs 25lbs and folds to 17,850 cubic inches, which is about average for this group of strollers. The size of its footprint makes it unsuitable for tight turns or narrow trunk spaces, though it does have a small handle at the rear of the basket that can be pulled to fold it into the most compact, flat position.

Despite its bulk, this stroller remains easy to maneuver. The front wheel is fitted with a locking mechanism which allows you to switch from normal to locked running mode. The handlebar can be adjusted for different heights for parents. It also comes with a wide seat that can recline almost flat, and has a large vinyl peek-a-boo window that is easy to open and close.

The Sport Utility also scored a 9/10 for its impressive quality. It is built with a strong aluminum frame, with strong connections and has no rough edges or weak stitching. It also has adjustable shocks, which aid in smooth-rolling performance.

Like the other BOB strollers we've reviewed the Sport Utility has optional car seat adapters that let you use it with various infant car seats. It took us 5:24 minutes during our tests to put together the stroller from unpacking it to getting it ready to go. The assembly was simple however, you'll require a Philips screwdriver. The instruction manual is well-organized and clear but it's a good idea just to have one in the case.

The Baby Trend Expedition

Created with safety, style and user-friendliness in mind, this jogger has parents' tray with 2 cup holders, covered storage and a swing-away tray for the child that includes two cup holders. The adjustable canopy that has a peek-a-boo window and the extra-wide ergonomically designed handle provide comfort for both parents. The locking front swivel can be locked for jogging and unlocked for strolling. The large storage basket is able to hold essential travel items.

In the Strollers test program of Consumer Reports, the Baby Trend Expedition Jogger is a good performer overall, for its price, and scores higher than many of its competitors in several categories. The 5-point harness, folding, unfolding, adjusting backrest, braking the wheel and infant car seat installation and removal (only compatible models) are all included. It's a simple design and a one-handed recline that is deep enough for napping. The canopy cover that has an adjustable ratcheting isn't easy to use. It takes around 8 minutes to put it in place. The instructions are confusing, with several languages mixed in with difficult-to-read drawings.

The only drawback for this jogger is its lack of a suspension system. This means that the ride could be bumpier than other Hauck Uptown All-Terrain Pushchair - Melange Rose strollers. This can make it more uncomfortable for children, particularly when they're on edge of taking napping. The air-filled wheels are great, but they don't provide as much cushioning as the rubber tires on strollers that are more expensive.

This is a great option for people who don't plan to run a lot however want to move across grass and gravel without difficulty and without problems with curbs, or other obstacles. It is also a great option for families who have limited space, as it folds up into a compact size. It's lighter than a lot of the other strollers we've tested and fits into spaces that some full-size strollers don't.

It's also easier to move and lift than the bulkier joggers that we've test. This can be important if you have to lift it into and out of the trunk of your car regularly or if you're constantly moving.

The Nipper Sport V4

If you're looking to find the most effective jogger for any terrain, then take a look at the Nipper Sport V4. This new version of Out 'n' Around's 3-wheeled running stroller is designed for jogging. It features large pneumatic alloy tyres with a 16-inch diameter that can tackle even the roughest paths and tracks. The Nipper is light and compact making it easy to carry and fold.

This pushchair comes with a handlebar as well as front suspension, making it suitable for all types of terrain. It also comes with a multi-position recline seat and removable quilted seat liner as well as a padded five point safety harness and a hinged bumper bar. It's also compatible with travel systems, meaning you can use it with a Cybex Maxi-Cosi or Be-Safe baby car seat.

The buggy also has a large front wheel that ensures an enjoyable ride for the child. This is especially crucial when you are dealing with terrain that is difficult as it enables the buggy to follow better and glide more easily over bumps and dips. Additionally it is also the case that the Nipper Sport is also very easy to drive. The handlebar is ergonomic in design and a single pedal easy-lock brake that can be adjusted to suit your needs. The buggy folds quickly, thanks to the clear instructions and photos in the user guide.

The Nipper Sport is suitable for children who are older than of six months. It can be used by a newborn due to its built-in infant insert. However, it is not recommended for use with infants under six months since the harness of the seat isn't secure enough to secure them.

Another issue with this model is its lack of a storage bin underneath the seat. The small shopping bag located at the back of seat isn't large enough to accommodate a large changing bag. It is very simple to unfold and close, with just two hands needed to release the plastic catches on either side of the lower frame. There is a second lock catch on the handlebar in red that can be loosened by one hand, making it extremely easy to use.
