Its navigation was up to par with the best iRobot robots that I've tested, and it made good progress even when the path was not clear. It's not great in avoiding obstacles, but it is quick to identify and avoid larger objects like socks and toys.

The app allows you to customize your schedule. You can design a specific cleaning path and also create Keep Out Zones (or Clean Zones) that direct the robot in the proper direction. It also displays the actions it has taken and health status. It is also possible to pair it with Alexa, Siri or Google Assistant enabled devices to provide voice control. iRobot's smart platform also automatically updates the Combo's software, and adds new features and capabilities in real time.
