Nespresso Coffee Machines

1. OriginalLine

OriginalLine is Nespresso’s classic line, which uses hermetically sealed pods. They create espresso and coffee and are among the most affordable nespresso machine options. They also have a wider variety of drinks and capsules than VertuoLine. However, if you're looking for larger drinks, you'll need to go with the VertuoLine line instead.

The VertuoLine is a newer line that utilizes more advanced techniques and specifications. It has better performance than the OriginalLine. They offer a wider assortment of brew sizes that include 0.85 ounces of ristretto 1.35 ounces of double espresso, 5.8 ounces of lungo and 14 ounces of Alto XL. They also offer a faster process called centrifusion which rotates the pod at 7,000 RPM, which allows more water to pass through for better extraction.

In addition to improving the technology, VertuoLine has also increased the number of capsules that can be reused and introduced a more sustainable packaging system. They now use 80percent recycled aluminum for their coffee capsules, and they are determined to increase the percentage of recycled and low carbon virgin aluminum in their future products.

The Lattissima Pro is one of the top-performing nespresso machines available. It comes with a fast heating time and an LCD display that can be customized settings. It has an efficient steaming tool for creating café-worthy foam and milk. The machine isn't as compact as the other models from nespresso, but it is small in size and a removable capsule container that makes it easy to clean.

2. Vertuoline

The Vertuoline series is a recent addition to the Nespresso lineup. It is the only machine to make both coffee machines small and espresso. It also has a built-in mixer for milk. This is a great choice for those who drink many black drinks but don't want to deal with the hassle of preparing them separately.

Vertuoline machines use an entirely different pod system from the OriginalLine line. The pods have customized barcodes on the exterior rim that machines read to determine what size of drink they're making (ristretto or lungo, or cappuccino) and automatically add the proper amount of water. This eliminates the necessity of a separate milk container and makes it much easier to make the perfect cup of Coffee Machine Pro or espresso.

In terms of quality in terms of quality, the Vertuoline machines create an espresso that's closer to the dense foam you get at a traditional cafe than the lighter Crema found in the OriginalLine machines. However the OriginalLine machines still offer the best flavor because they create 19 bars of pressure that help extract flavor from the espresso grounds.

The more modern VertuoLine machine utilizes a technique known as Centrifusion, which spins the capsules more quickly and evenly than the Original Line machine. This speeds up the infusion of water and improves the quality of the drink. The Vertuoline machines also employ a lower temperature in order to speed up extraction and improve the strength of the coffee.

3. Original

This entry-level Original machine is a good choice for those who don't have lots of space or funds to invest in a bigger machine. It has a smaller tank and capsule container, yet has 19 bars of pressure. This is more than enough to produce the espressos and coffees that most people buy Nespresso for.

It has a minimalist, black design, and the top button is used to control all functions, from turning on to rinsing and making. This is a standard procedure among Nespresso machines. It makes them simple to operate and also to learn.

Another benefit of this model is that it can be used with milk, and it comes with a jug that can be used to make drinks with added foam. It's a collaboration between two of the industry's most renowned names - Heston Blumenthal's Sage manufactures the machine, while Breville designed its powerful thermocoil heating system.

The most exciting aspect of the brand new Creatista is its automatic steam and frothering system. Place your milk pitcher on the temperature sensor that is below the wand, and the machine will take care of the rest. It has 11 settings which allow you to alter the texture of your milk. If you prefer a more traditional method you can also opt to manually froth your milk.

Another great feature of the Creatista is its rapid temperature-up time. It can be ready to go up to temperature in only 3 seconds, which is quicker than other Nespresso machines. The machine's design is elegant and stylish and has a stainless steel body with brushed finish that looks stunning on any countertop. The high-resolution LCD provides simple navigation when setting up, preparing and maintaining the machine. It is available in four colors: sea salt, black truffle, damson blue, and the stainless steel version. The Creatista measures 6.7 x 15 12 inches (WxDxH). The OriginalLine is the smallest Nespresso machine so it will fit on any counter.

5. CitiZ

This sleek espresso maker from Nespresso occupies less counter space than comparable models. It also comes with a folding cup tray that allows it to fit larger recipe glasses and mugs. This is a great feature for kitchens with smaller spaces, and makes it much easier to use the machine when using larger recipes. The 19 bar extraction system makes it simple to make cafe-style dishes and the quick heating up is another advantage.

The CitiZ Basic doesn't come with a milk frother. You can buy one on its own or as part of the CitiZ&Milk Bundle. This bundle comes with the Aeroccino steamer, which allows you to make creamy cappuccinos and lattes. This model can be used with reusable capsules however, they aren't included.

It comes with a large 1 liter water tank and a used capsule container that holds up to 11 capsules. It does not automatically eject the capsules after brewing, but it is possible to raise and lower the holder.

6. Gran Lattissima

Gran Lattissima espresso and milk machine is a premium, single-serve espresso machine. It has a premium modern design with matte and glossy finishes, stainless steel accents and an LCD touch screen. It can make a wide variety of milk and coffee drinks with the push of one button, such as Ristretto Espresso, Lungo Cappuccino Latte Macchiato Cafe Latte Flat White Foamed Milk and Hot Milk. It is compatible with OriginalLine and third-party Nespresso Pods (doesn't work with VertuoLine, Starbucks by Nespresso or Starbucks by Nespresso).

One of the major distinctions between this model and the previous Lattissima Touch is that the model has nine drink presets and just two of them are milk based drinks. It doesn't have the option to choose the milk texture you prefer for a particular recipe, however, it is possible to do so on the Lattissima Pro.

The model also comes with a washable and reusable milk container, which means you don't need to worry about obtaining fresh milk or buying an additional appliance for the machine. The container is easy to clean and can be filled with water and emptied into the sink in a matter of seconds.

Another wonderful feature of the Gran Lattissima is its energy-saving function and fast heat-up time. It heats up in just 25 seconds, and has a large reservoir of 44 oz. The drip tray and froth container are easily removed for cleaning. Finally, it's easy to keep the machine in good shape with regular descaling and automatic cleaning cycles.
