The Q Revo is an excellent option if you're looking for a robot vacuum and mop that's middle-of-the-road. It offers a great mopping experience but lacks the features that make up its more expensive counterpart.

During testing it was able to take on dust and dry oats on medium-pile carpet and pet hair on hard floors. But, unlike cheaper models, it doesn't utilize LIDAR to map out your home.

Setup is easy, thanks to the iRobot Home app that walks you through the procedure. Once everything is connected, you can begin the automatic cleaning functions at the touch of the button. You can select a general clean that focuses on the removal of larger pieces of debris like rice and cereal. You can also choose two mappings to ensure that your home is completely cleaned.

This robot vacuum performs well both on bare floors and carpets with low pile. It can pick up pet hair and also suck large objects up. It doesn't lose its suction as quickly as other robot vacuums. It's a challenge with high-pile carpets or plush carpets, but iRobot says that future models will be more efficient.

The S9+ features a new design from iRobot, which concentrates on enhancing corner and edge cleaning. It's the first Roomba to adopt a flat-fronted, D-shaped design, which will allow it to fit into walls and furniture. The robo-vac's dust tank is larger than many of its competitors and it takes only two or three cycles to fill it up, even at the highest dirt level.

For the mopping device, I was awestruck with its ability to remove the tough dirt off my floors. Its two lowest mopping settings that are less powerful than high-powered modes, produce very minimal noise, meaning you can work or watch television without getting distracted. If it encounters the wall or a piece of furniture it gently smacks into it and moves on.

The Q Revo is unique in that it can run almost autonomously, with little user involvement. The robo-vac features a multi-function dock that automatically transfers physical trash to the bin hidden in the background and washes and dry the mop pads and refills its clean water tank. The app is capable of nagging you only when something needs attention, for example, the water tank being empty or a scheduled cleaning session that was cancelled because of a full dust bin.

You can also create and combine actual rooms to customize the way that Q Revo will treat your home. This feature is beneficial when you have different flooring in different areas of your house or when you have to frequently get rid of clutter like toys, clothes, and books. The robo mops-vac is also efficient and was among the top performers during my tests, removing debris from carpets as well as hardwoods in its first run. It can even clean up spills that are wet, though I recommend drying them with a damp cloth prior to sending the robot in.

3. Ecovacs Deebot X2 Omni

The X2 Omni has all of the features you'd expect from a premium robot vacuum and mop and more. It comes with the ability to rotate mops and a powerful vacuum that can clean carpets and hard floors. It is similar to the iRobot Roomba S9+. It also comes with an automatic cleaning station that washes and empties the mop pads to keep them clean and ready to be reused. It also has a sensor that can detect obstacles better which allows it to avoid falling on furniture or other objects.

The X2 Omni is the most effective mopping performance of any robot we've tested due to its mop pads that rotate to scrub away tough stains and a motor that produces plenty of downward pressure. Its vacuuming capabilities are excellent as well and it increases suction when it detects carpet to ensure it does an excellent job. It also has a huge battery that can last for weeks between charges, and its mopping mode is as powerful as the ones we've seen on the market for a consumer best robot vacuum for vinyl plank floors.

4. Dreametech L10s Ultra

The Dreametech L10s Ultra is a top-quality robot vacuum and best mop and vacuum combo robot that comes with a variety of convenience features that you do not often find on robots of this price. It can make precise floor maps and recognize various flooring types. It's also one of the few robots that can automatically clean and dry its mop pad. While these features are great but they also put the L10s Ultra in the category of luxury, which might make it a little more expensive than what some homeowners require.

The L10s Ultra looks like a modern floor cleaner. It is slim and tall, with a white finish, accentuated by silver elements and mirror plating.
