Best Lightweight Single Stroller

This is the lightest and compact travel stroller available. Its sleek design makes it easy to fold into a stylish rectangle shape and the wheels are a lot easier to turn than other models.

It also has a large under-seat storage area and an adjustable shoulder strap that makes it easier to carry around when you're not pushing it. But the canopy adjuster can cause a lot of noise, which can wake a sleepy toddler.

1. Contours Itsy

A compact stroller, the Contours Itsy offers lots of features for its size. The back basket under the seat is spring loaded, which means you can pull it down to put bags or diapers into and it will then pop up to keep the contents. It also comes with a tray for accessories for children as well as an adjustable reclining seat back pad that offer more options than you normally see on a stroller with a light weight.

Additionally, it comes with an excellent canopy that is able to open and close to provide the sun protection you require. Additionally, the handlebar can be adjusted in height in four positions to provide a more comfortable fit. We weren't too impressed with the quality of its ride on rough terrain. We felt that the suspension and wheels didn't do a good job of absorbing bumps and shocks.

The stroller is great for travel because it comes fully assembled in the box. It only takes just a few steps to get it ready to use. The seat can be moved forward and backwards to adjust the recline. It's a bit flat. It's a cinch to fold and unfold due to two buttons on the frame. It also fits into the perfect carrying bag when it's not in use. In fact, it's one of the smallest strollers we tested, and it easily can meet the requirements of many airlines for gate-checking and cabin storage on planes. 2. Kolcraft Cloud Plus

This stroller is an excellent choice for those who need a stroller that is lightweight for travel. It has all the features that parents want in a stroller. This includes all-terrain tires and front suspension to ensure an easy ride. It's also incredibly light with less than 12 pounds. It also has a handy one-hand and self-standing fold. It also comes with a child tray and parent tray each with two cup holders.

Its build quality isn't very excellent, and it didn't perform well in our test of maneuverability. It has a flexible frame which makes pushing it over rough surfaces feel like lifting weights. This might be fine if you only use the stroller on paved paths, but for the majority of people, it will likely not be a pleasant experience.

Cloud Plus Cloud Plus has a three-tier extended canopy as well as a peek-a-boo window for additional sun protection. Its multi-positional seat can accommodate children up to 50 pounds and uses a five-point safety restraint. This is a great option for older toddlers who have outgrown their car seats for infants.

3. Munchkin Sparrow

The Munchkin Sparrow is the ultimate travel stroller for parents who are on the go. The compact stroller can be folded up and down with ease and can be tucked away in the overhead compartments of planes, or trunks at amusement parks (no need to worry about parking fees). It comes with a carry bag which zips up for easy storage. It is able to be used from birth with the infant car seat adapter, and provides plenty of shade thanks to its canopy (though not as much as the Nuna TRVL or Uppababy Minu V2). The only issue for some parents is that they consider the style to be dated and unfashionable.

The BabyZen Yoyo+ is a bit more expensive than the other lightweight single seat buggy for sale strollers however, it was created specifically for luxurious travel and urban living. It's among the smallest strollers that fold (and comes with a handy carry case), and it comes with plenty of storage space, including a cup holder. The seat is comfortable for both the child and the adult and reclines to a nearly flat position. This is the only stroller that can be used for a newborn with the car seat adapter. Some short parents may not like the handlebar, as it doesn't adjust.

The UPPAbaby Minu V2 isn't the lightest stroller on our list, but it has many amazing features that help kids travel more easily. The large seat reclines to an upright position and comes with additional padding to make those airplane naps more comfortable. The canopy that can be extended has plenty of sun coverage and the tray that is on the back offers a good amount of storage. It also comes with an adjustable handle that doubles as a footrest when folded. The footrest, however, seems vulnerable to damage from baggage handlers.

4. Uppababy Minu V2

Uppababy Minu V2 is a stylish stroller with a premium design and quality. Its compact design makes it easy to navigate tight spaces and narrow sidewalks however its sturdy construction lets it handle rough terrain without compromising the safety of your child. Front and rear spring-action suspensions provide an incredibly comfortable ride for both of you, while its robust materials ensure that it can withstand every day wear and tear without losing its shape. Plus, it can be expanded to accommodate additional accessories like an infant car seat.

In our testing during our testing, the Minu was a breeze to maneuver and fold even with a baby in hand. Its squat, almost square fold, which folds in thirds, is one of the most simple folds we've seen and allows it to fit in overhead compartments on planes and public transport. It has a single-action color-coded brake that is easy to use.

The seat comes with a multi-position recline as well as a one-handed adjustable leg rest, so it's easy to find the right position for your child. The UPF 50+ hood went down quite a ways and was perfect for protecting Cora's eyes from sun (though not quite as low as other strollers). The medium-sized mesh window is attached magnetically to the canopy and closes without using noisy Velcro.

At just under 15 pounds at just under 15 pounds, the Minu is light enough to carry with a built-in carry handle and a shoulder strap. It can be tucked away in the trunk of your car, and comes with a storage case and Uppababy TravelSafe, which extends the manufacturer's warranty by two years and covers replacements if items are damaged during travel.

5. Joovy Aire

Joovy, an established stroller brand that makes a variety of models. This stroller is light and a great option for parents looking for a sturdy stroller that can take their children. It is simple to move, has plenty of storage space, and is not difficult to fold. This model is not suitable for those who want a double stroller or a car-seat compatible model. It's not compatible with infant car seats, and your infants will need to be able to sit on their own before you can use the stroller from day one.

This stroller is brimming with features and is available at a very affordable price. It earned a higher score in our maneuverability review than other strollers with similar specs, and it's a great choice for smooth paved surfaces. It also comes with a great canopy and plenty of storage space, including a large parent tray. The handlebar is smaller than average and the front wheel suspension is more rigid but it's still comfortable for adults.

If you have twins or two kids with different ages, you might find that a side-by-side stroller is the best way to move them around. Our favorite is the Joovy Twin Groove, which comes with a wide range of features and a small footprint that fits into places that other side-byside alternatives won't.

It has a huge canopy that has a peek-aboo view and plenty of storage. It's heavier than other side-by-sides but it has a reasonable weight limit and can handle the majority of kids up to 50 pounds. It's possible to add a bassinet to the front of the stroller to accommodate newborns.
