Lightest Double Stroller

If you're looking for a light double-stroller that folds, the dimensions and weight are key aspects to take into consideration. Picking one that is simple to use and compact when not in use will make it easier to put in the trunk of your car, and to maneuver through airport gates and foreign streets.

Kolcraft Cloud Plus

Designed for the family traveling. Lightweight with a convenient one-hand compact fold. The all-terrain wheels and front suspension and the multi-position reclining seat, can accommodate children weighing up to 50 pounds. The tray for parents and kids, large storage basket, and a three-tiered canopy that has a windows that peek out at the sun provide maximum protection.

The Cloud received one of the lowest marks in our quality tests due to the fact that it has a thin seat, made of hard plastic, and a style that feels dated. It's also more expensive than other strollers with lighter weights which is why it's not the best option in the event you're looking for a low-cost option.

It's not the most light stroller but it comes with enough features that it is worth considering. Its swiveling wheels make easy for you to move it around flat surfaces. It can also leap over curbs with ease. The Cloud's low, nearly knee-high handle is a downside. It's not adjustable, and it's not adjustable. It's not comfortable to push it with your legs hanging in the air and it's also not helping that it lacks padding.

During our tests, we discovered the Cloud to be easy to set up and open. To close it, it's a bit more difficult. You must slide the slider and then press the large white button. This can be a hassle especially if you're trying to manage children while doing it.

The Cloud comes with a compact, but deep storage basket. It can fit the size of a large diaper bag. It's a bit narrow however, and you'll likely have to put something in it for the back to get it back. The Cloud comes with two tray for parents and children with two cup holders however they're too narrow to comfortably hold larger bottles or cups.

Kolcraft is a family-owned business which has been in operation since 1946. Their first products were diapers and crib pads and now they manufacture various baby products, including highchairs, strollers for infants, car seats and toys. The company is based in Chicago and is an American manufacturer.

Jeep Destination Ultralight SBS

Jeep Destination Ultralight SBS is a fairly barebones lightweight double stroller that's perfect for travel. It's extremely light at 18lbs (lighter than many single strollers!) It folds flat to make it easy to carry and store. It also comes with independently reclined seats as well as large SPF 50 sunvisors with a peekaboo view. The visors are adjustable to fit kids of various heights. It also features a one-step linked parking brake, and is Disney-size approved.

The swivel wheels on the Jeep are also awesome for navigating over bumps and uneven surfaces. The stroller does not accept car seats and therefore your children must be 6 months old and have solid neck control to ride in the front seat. The stroller comes with an umbrella sun canopy with three panels and each seat comes with a cupholder and snack tray.

Valco Baby Snap Duo Trend is another incredibly lightweight stroller with a side by side. It's a bit heavier than the Kolcraft Cloud Plus at 23 lbs, but it's amazingly narrow and slim (26.5 inches wide!) It's got a lot of elegant features that make it perfect for travel. It folds up easily and very easy to move around. It also fits easily in overhead compartments and the trunks of airplanes.

Like the Summer Infant 3D Pac CS+ Double and Mountain Buggy Nano Duo, the Joovy Kooper X2 is another tri-fold, ultralight double buggy with carrycot stroller. It's pretty similar to the Jeep Destination Ultralight SBS, but it has a few key distinctions. It's a bit more expensive, but offers a more shady sun canopy and more maneuverability. It has a convenient strap for carrying and can be used by kids weighing up to 44 pounds for each seat.

Summer 3D Pac CS+ for infants

If you're looking for a stroller that's light but packed with features, look no further than Summer Infant 3D Pac CS+. It's not only crazy lightweight at just 13 pounds and offers plenty of storage space in the form of child and parent cup holders, a child sippy-cup pocket, a parent storage pocket, and more. It can also be used with the car seat of your child and features a brake that can be used flip-flop. It's designed to evolve with your children from a baby stroller to an adult stroller by attaching the car seat adapters (sold separately) and is suitable for children aged 6 months old and up.

The stroller is swivel-wheel only and no locking feature which means it won't be the best choice for steep or rocky terrain. It's a great stroller for pavements, as well as other smooth surfaces, so it's still an excellent option for most families.

This stroller is among the lightest double strollers that has full-size features in a sleek compact design. The quick-close feature lets you to fold it with just one hand and it's compact enough to store easily in your garage or trunk. It is also able to be used as an infant stroller and is compatible with a variety of car seats without the need for extra adapters.

The Kooper X2 is an excellent option for parents looking for a stroller that is light and can accommodate two children. The sling-style seats are comfortable, and offer the same amount of headroom as other double strollers. This lets kids sit together. Contrary to other strollers with side-by-side seating this one Kooper X2 offers a fully reclined seat that is a great option for napping. Its recline mechanism is easy to use but doesn't go really flat. Kids who are taller might find they have a leg that hangs out of the way when sitting in the reclined position. It also has a big canopy that we found to be more effective in blocking out sun than other strollers in our review of the best double strollers.

The stroller is light enough to move through door frames which was a major problem for us with some other models in our testing. It folds up quickly and its handlebars sit close to the ground for easy transport. Its only downside is its limited storage space, which can feel cramped when full of kid stuff.
